Fall Colors at Their Peak

Utah's fall foliage is at its peak in late September and early October.

Fall colors will be at their peak in the Wasatch over the next week or so, and this weekend should be an excellent time to take a scenic drive. Storms forecast for next week might bring a lot of leaves to the ground.

Here's a list of Utah scenic drives perfect for viewing spectacular fall foliage. Bountiful Peak Drive, Guardsman's Pass and the Alpine Loop are some of my favorites near Salt Lake City.

That’s a beautiful photograph. The mountains were spectacular (view from the valley) today!

My favorite season is fall, particularly for this reason. You just gave me a great idea for family night. Great pic, by the way.
