Utah's Hogle Zoo dates back almost 100 years to 1911, and I've been going there at least a couple of times a year for as long as I can remember. The zoo keeps getting better every year, with two of its newest and interesting exhibits being the Elephant Encounter and Asian Highlands. Currently zoo organizers are hosting "Zoorassic Park," a special exhibit featuring thirteen lifelike robotic dinosaurs, in conjunction with the Utah Museum of Natural History.
Summer is the perfect time to visit the zoo, ride the train and carousel, watch the bird show and create lasting family memories. At $9 for adults and $7 for children it's an affordable family outing, and buying an annual zoo membership makes it an even better deal.
