A burger is the quintessential American entree, and some of the country's best burgers are made in Salt Lake City. In fact, SLC was recently named the second best burger city in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine, thanks to our city's unique love of pastrami burgers.
The Salt Lake Tribune recently conducted a poll to find Salt Lake City's best burger, and I was surprised at how much I agreed with the Tribune's readers. Crown Burger came out on top, followed by Five Guys Burgers and Fries, In-n-Out, and Salt City Burger Co. Other, more unique mentions were the feta burger at Greek City Grill and the Team Awesome Burger at Smashburger, topped with grilled onions, a fried egg, bacon, spinach leaves, Swiss cheese and chipotle mayonnaise.

The Copper Onion has a great burger and I think Smashburger is legit. The Californian at The Other Place is one of my all time favorites. Five Guys is always a good place for a burger and thier dogs are great too… I think they use Hebrew Nationals. I think B&D Burger is the best of the Crown-a-likes. The best burger in SLC however is actually in Kamas at Hi-Mountain Drug. I loves me some burgers and Hi-Mountain has got my vote for best. Everything tastes fresh, the bacon is great, and they have blue cheese to dip your fresh cut fries in. Nice drive from Salt Lake and the temp is a little nicer on those dog days of summer.
Lucky 13 bar has the best burger I have ever tried! Must go now. 1300 south adjacent to the spring mobile ballpark.
I have been on a quest for the best burger and I have to agree with Andre – Lucky 13 has proven to provide the best burgers on a regular basis that I have ever eaten! You gotta try Lucky 13 if you haven’t yet.
