Congrats to one of my favorite Utah bakeries, The Sweet Tooth Fairy, for winning the Food Network's Cupcake Wars in an episode that aired Sunday, April 8. Sweet Tooth Fairy owner and founder Megan Faulkner Brown, along with her assistant Hilary, won $10,000 by baking 1000 creme brulee, chocolate hazlenut crepe, and sweet potato pie cupcakes. The cupcakes were decorated with a rock and roll theme and served at the Los Angeles premiere party for the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.
The Sweet Tooth Fairy serves moist, flavorful cupcakes, unique cakebites, cookies, brownies, bars and other baked desserts in a cute, 50s-inspired atmosphere. Sweet Tooth Fairy has nine locations throughout Utah, including Salt Lake City, Draper, West Valley, Midvale and Murray.
