Salt Lake City residents were able to see a partial solar eclipse Sunday evening, May 20, 2012, for the first time since 1994. The full eclipse was visible in a 200 mile wide arc from Oregon to Albuquerque, including southern Utah. Click the link below for a few photos of the eclipse, shot by Randall Parker of West Jordan. The next solar eclipse visible in the United States will occur August 21, 2017.
