I just learned that July is National Ice Cream month - an official designation made by Ronald Reagan in 1984. Maybe that explains why I've been eating so much of it lately! Tracy Aviary wants to help Salt Lake City celebrate with free, Utah-made Creamies ice cream treats Friday, July 28, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. or while supplies last. Paid admission to the aviary is required.

If you haven't been to Tracy Aviary recently, you might want to check out several new exhibits that have been constructed over the past few years, Tracy Aviary is experiencing record attendance, so people are encouraged to fly over early on the 28th before ice cream supplies run out.

Tracy Aviary is located at 589 East 1300 South in the southwest corner of Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. It is accessible from the northern entrance of the park located at 900 South. Phone: 801-596-8500

Adults $5, seniors and students $4, children 4-12 $3, children under 3 free, Avian Encounter $3
