The former India Unlimited on Foothill Boulevard has been transformed into Taqueria 27 and Coffee Bar, a welcome addition to SLC's Mexican dining scene. Not another fast-casual taco place, Taqueria 27 is a moderately priced, full-service restaurant serving creative, elevated versions of the humble taco, including duck confit and beef cheek in addition to the usual beef, chicken, fish and carnitas.
T27 also serves four different mole platters, flavored guacamoles, quick snacks and vegetarian dishes. T27 serves 38 varieties of 100% agave premium tequila along with tequila-based cocktails and a small selection of wines and beers. Next door the Coffee Bar serves Millcreek Coffee Roasters coffee and breakfast pastries, with breakfast service starting November 2012.
