For the first time ever, man's best friend is invited to stroll the pathways at Thanksgiving Point's gardens, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20. During Dog Days in the Gardens, guests can stroll and play with their dogs in the 55-acre gardens and enjoy the fall scenery, and also visit canine-related vendors, adoption and rescue shelters, and concession stands.
The Thunder Paws Flyball Team will be at the gardens Saturday Oct. 19, and Dazzle Dogzz will entertain guests with high-flying, Frisbee-catching dogs. Petco of Orem will provide goodie bags for the first 100 guests each day, and Costco will give away a free treat to furry friends. Visitors can participate in the Garden scavenger hunt and other competitions for prizes.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and waste bags will be available. Admission to the event includes admission to the entire Gardens, which is $10 per adult, $6 per child and free for Thanksgiving Point members. Dogs get in for free with an optional donation fee.
