Discovery Gateway will be holding a free family night for people on the autism spectrum and their families, Monday, Jan. 28 from 5-7 p.m. Museum staff have recognized that visiting the museum during regular hours can be difficult for children with autism, so the museum will be closed to the general public during this time. Currently, the museum is featuring a penguin photography exhibit along with the regular exhibits. The free night is sponsored by Linagen, a company offering genetic counseling for people with autism spectrum disorder.
