There's plenty of free entertainment in the Salt Lake area during the summer, including free movie nights sponsored by community organizations throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Most are outdoors, so bring a blanket and a few of your best friends to enjoy a great movie and a beautiful summer evening!

Salt Lake City will show a free movie at a new park for seven straight Fridays starting in June. The movies are all family-friendly, but fun for all ages. They are shown on a large inflatable screen and popcorn is free while it lasts.
Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy a neighborhood party under the stars. Community booths will open at 8 p.m. and the movies will begin around 9 p.m.

Millcreek offers Friday night festivals throughout the summer, including games, family activities, a mini-farmers market, and a free outdoor movie. Each festival is held at a different park in the Millcreek area.

Draper City presents free family movies at the Draper Amphitheater, one night per month in June, July and August. Free musical entertainment begins before the movie at 8 p.m., and the movie begins at 9:15.
