1. Music of Mannheim Steamroller
Get an early start on your holiday mood when Mannheim Steamroller and Chip Davis bring their Christmas tour to Salt Lake City's Abravanel Hall.

3. Trans-Siberian Orchestra
The Trans-Siberian orchestra is a rock orchestra that combines classical influences with an amazing light show. They'll be performing their holiday concert at EnergySolutions Arena Nov. 25.

4. Light Up the Night Concert and Old World Christmas Market at the Gateway
Enjoy the Old World Christmas Market beginning the Saturday before Thanksgiving at The Gateway Mall in conjunction with the annual Light Up the Night Concert with a special performance by Jon Schmidt and the official lighting of the Gateway's splendid holiday lights.
The Old World Christmas Market features handmade gifts and seasonal treats and is modeled after European Christmas markets—a holiday tradition dating back to the 1300’s.

5. Lights On! Holiday Kickoff
Lights On! celebrates the turning on of Salt Lake City's downtown Christmas lights with parties at four locations: the Gallivan Center, Temple Square, The Gateway, and Broadway Boulevard. Unique shopping is available on East Broadway Boulevard. Sponsored by The Downtown Alliance.

7. Messiah Sing-In With the Utah Symphony

10. "A Christmas Story" at Pioneer Memorial Theatre
Alleyway bullies, major awards, freezing flagpoles, and above all else, a child’s Christmas dream of finding an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle under the tree. Based upon the classic motion picture, this play is a holiday treat everyone can enjoy — that is, until someone shoots their eye out.
