Oktoberfest at Snowbird features music, dancing and traditional German cuisine. Enjoy a bratwurst and sauerkraut, apfelstrudel and more. Kids young and old can enjoy face painting, a caricature artist, inflatable rides, yo-yo demonstrations, clowns, music, balloons and other activities.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City
The summer season of the Utah Shakespeare Festival features The Merry Wives of Windsor, Mary Stuart, Titus Andronicus, Scapin, To Kill a Mockingbird, Les Miserables and selections from the New American Playwrights Project. The fall season includes Hamlet, Les Miserables and Stones in His Pockets. Hosted by Southern Utah University in its replica Globe Theatre and two other theaters, the Utah Shakespeare Festival is a great event that's definitely worth the trip to Cedar City.

"Speed" Exhibit at UMFA
Utah, with its famed Bonneville Salt Flats, has a special connection to speed, and "Speed: The Art of the Performance Automobile" at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts explores that connection with a display of rare and priceless racing automobiles.
