Almost everyone I talk to likes Iggy's. Their food isn't fancy or refined, but it is piled high with plenty of flavor. I think the best thing on the menu is the Manhattan burger, topped with pastrami, Swiss cheese and fried onion strings. I also love Iggy's hot fudge vanilla bean sundae - classic, simple and well executed.
Like almost all bar and grill-type restaurants, Iggy's puts huge amounts of food on every plate, and sometimes it seems there isn't enough thought about how flavors go together. On a recent visit, I ordered the smoky BBQ pork salad, with barbecue pork, corn, glazed pecans, cucumbers, Bermuda onion, boiled egg and onion straws over mixed greens with Ranch dressing. From my point of view, it wasn't a harmonious combination. My companion's burger had so many toppings it was difficult to eat.
