Maxwell's East Coast Eatery is attached to the Newport Hotel in the Redstone development at Kimball Junction in Park City. Maxwell's serves pizza, Italian food and bar favorites in a sports bar atmosphere.
Seeing that I'm a Maxwell, too, I wanted to give Maxwell's a try. I'd heard great things about the pizza, and it didn't disappoint.

My family and I went to Maxwell's for lunch, and we ordered both the pepperoni and the "Fat Kid" pizza. Minors are welcome at Maxwell's, although at least one person in the dining party must be over the age of 21.

Maxwell's pizza is New York style with a thin, crisp, light and delicious crust. Maxwell's trademark pizza, the "Fat Kid," is a rich combination of pepperoni, spinach, ricotta, mozzarella and tomato sauce and just might be my new favorite pizza.

Besides, the pizza, we had the bruschetta and house salad, which were both just okay and had too much red onion for my taste. The bruschetta topping was heavy on balsamic vinegar.

Maxwell's has a pleasant, lively atmosphere with dark wood and TV screens everywhere tuned in to various sports events. The service was good on our visit, and I enjoyed being greeted by friendly owner Steven Maxwell. It's a fun place for a family lunch or dinner, or for pizza and a few drinks with friends.
