Red Rock has been in operation for 15 years and has long been a favorite with my family, especially before or after a Utes or Jazz game. The menu includes wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, salads, seafood, chicken, steak and pasta.
Some menu standouts include the beer-battered onion rings, unique bruschetta with warm goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and roasted garlic, meatball and Italian sausage grinders, grilled Rueben and the pizzas. Most of the sandwiches are served in pocket bread that is cooked in the wood-fired oven, as is the pizza. There's a fish sandwich special every day, and these are almost always delicious.
Red Rock serves between eight and ten original beers (changes seasonally), and the most popular is the Hefeweizen. Red Rock's beers are also available in local grocery stores.
