Guide Review - Tres Hombres Mexican Restaurant Review
The Food:If you're a seafood lover, this is the place for you. The Zacatecas entrees feature huge tiger shrimp and crab with an excellent sauce. The ingredients are fresh, well cooked and nicely plated with a side of rice and beans. I love the vegetarian options on the menu with succulent zuchinni and crisp medleys of onions and peppers.
The Service:
Many of the waitstaff are faithful employees of Tres Hombres and are experienced, well-versed in the menu and friendly. Not only do you have a waitress or waiter servicing your table, but a roaming busboy keeps the water, chips and salsa topped off.
The Atmosphere:
It's festive without being too cutesy, it's open but still gives you an intimiate dining experience and the noise level somehow stays manageable even though the exposed rafter beams should echo. It's romantic enough for a nice date but there's a party vibe in the air that makes you feel like celebrating just about anything.
The Drinks:
The Tres Hombres Cantina is well-known for the huge selection of tequila. If you're a tequila connoisseur, you'll find a margarita to match your taste. Tres Hombres also offers a full wine cellar and fruity exotic drinks such as the Sangrias. Keep an eye on your intake, even with Utah's one oz. law, the margaritas have enough kick to get you buzzed in no time.
